it all seems to be getting a bit off topic.
maybe someone should start a rwd vs awd vs fwd thread.

the 3 main reasons people dont buy the falcon are in my personal opinion

1- the build quality isnt there, yes i know they will do 500,000+km but they constantly wear out diff bushes, door actuator, him modules, rose joint, shock bushes etc etc and dont get me started on rattles

2- people dont want a car thats immediatly related to a taxi, it make them seem cheap and lower class, sure a g6e or fpv are nice but at the end of the day they are a tarted up taxi

3- initial purchase price and resale value, why pay 40k for an xr6 when 2 years late youl be lucky to get 15k on trade in.

this is just my opinion. try not to flame me. im a ford fan as well but i reckon ford australia need to support us more if they want us to support them.
