Default 1980 BC Escort Van

Hi I have an old one of these Ex RACV van it was
My starter motor has died and for the life of me I cant find another one any were Main prob I think is I dont now what I am looking for
On the compliance plate it has
Model = 41982
Engine = E
Trans = Y
build was 10/80 GVM1300
CX50XY 97470 A

Can any one tell me 1. Is it a 1600cc Like I think or is it a 2l Pinto motor like I read some were they put in the escorts here in Aus
So any help appreciated I need a starter motor bad for this car I miss not driving it around I have a 2k stero system in it Yes more than I payed for the car LOL
I took the starter motor to an Auto elec and he said it is screwed cant be fixed
PLEASE HELP
