Default What needs replacing? Au1

Here's the story, and it has been a long time since I posted.

Son bought him self an au series 1 (very damn cheap) for a get to work car as his commy threw the towel in, he had a front end accident (wont go into details) it was and is fixable but he needs to get it re registered soon, the air bag went off but is still drivable.

Now the question is apart from replacing the "airbag" does he have to replace the clock spring and the airbag sensor in the engine bay? he has cruise control, and atm it's not working, is this because the air bag is not operating? He is driving the car the steering wheel turns without any trouble the car is going off the road this week for hopefully only 2 weeks he needs to get the parts.

thanks for the replies
