I have recently tried 2 tyre gauges (my own small hand held) and it isn't always easy to get a snug fit right away to the valve so I tend to lose a pound here and there. So, I go to Repco to gat a "good" one. They have the old style or digital. From about $20 to $60. While the least expensive make no claim to the accuracy the more expensive ones say accurate to + or - 3 PSI. Three PSI! I said to the assistant that cant be right and he said it is.
What do others use to check their tyre pressure? I can call at the tyre place and get them to check it with their $120 ones but I don't like to bug them but will if I can't buy my own accurate one. |
