Hi,
I'm new here ... but I do hope someone wiser - may be able to help me. My 95 EF Fairmont Ghia.... has just reached 200,000 Klms. As you may know... from time to time a small spanner icon - lights up in the dash - to indicate a periodic service is due. I do all of the routine service work myself... and normally at conclusion, I can reset the said service light.. by turning the ingnition to ON and then holding the rest button on the trip computer (10 secs) However, for some reason - this reset procedure will not work this time. I was wondering if this is an intended (Ford thing) result on reaching 200k requiring additional reset actions...? Any help here would be most appreciated.....
