Hi Matt,
Thanks for your previous advice regarding some Mustang sized RDA069 brakes I have on the front of my AU II XR8. As it happens the rotors are getting pretty thin and I have some BF XR8 calipers lying around which I was considering fitting since it seems that discs are a fair bit cheaper with this option and it looks more 'factory' if I plan on selling the car in the next year or two. Is it possible you could tell me: - Exactly what sort of brake hose I would need for this fitment (i.e. AU hose, BF hose, or a special size, - Whichever hose is required, what it would cost for a new set in standard rubber, - What a set of new RDA slotted, and DBA 4000 rotors would cost, - What sort of pads you'd recommend for 'spirited' street driving? I was sort of thinking about A1RMs if using RDA discs since the discs are pretty cheap so I wouldn't mind if they got chewed up? And a supply price. All prices for delivery to Nambour QLD. Regards, Matt Steele |
