He sent the letter months ago, explaining that we were in the park for 20 minutes maximum, not 2+ hours. I was with him at the time, but he didn't ask me to sign a declaration, as he didn't think it'd hold weight with me being his daughter.
He outlined the fact we have all the driver's sheets and tachographs from the buses we were driving, at the time they say his ute was parked there, that prove he was not in the area at the time it is alleged he first parked. They are saying that "obviously" someone else had the ute at the time it was chalk marked, and parked it in exactly the same position that we parked in hours later. Never mind that that would still indicate the fine was at least a mistake. The keys to the ute were in Dad's pocket, and it was blocked in by another staff member's car, while all of the staff were out of the yard driving a local public school to their end of year picnic. The pictures taken by the ranger prove nothing, except that it was parked at 11.52am. The picture of the chalk mark is 11.52am time-stamped, and the picture of the numberplate is 3 minutes after that. The only thing I don't think is helping Dad's case, is that he's already mentioned that when it's all settled - and he wins, he wants the ranger dismissed. The guy in charge of the rangers has stated that his staff are not corrupt, they would never issue fraudulent fines, and he'd bet his job on it. So Dad wants him sacked too.
