Ok, I guess we are one of the first to post times for the new 6 speed auto - here it is:
WSID Wednesday 4 January 2006 BF XR6T Ute 6 Speed Auto 4,000 kms ODO Temp 22C ET 14.025 MPH 102 The Ute is absolutely stock and was run with normal tyre pressures, half tank of fuel, spare tyre, tailgate closed etc etc Our method was to load up the revs to about 2,500rpm while the brake is on and then let it go - with a touch of wheel slip. We ran out of time tonight but we reckon with 3,000-3,200rpm dialed up we could have easily gone into the 13's. Anthony GFS Performance The Shires Premium Speed Shop |
