V8 Brute Ute series

Sorry for this thread, like many enthusiasts on here, I'm just feeling so sick to the stomach, at the prospect of loosing the falcon ute platform too, on top of the falcon sedan.

Apart from being an awesome workhorse.

......... does this mean the end of my favorite race series - the V8 Brute Utes?

Does this mean no more Holden/Ford rivalry?

I really came to love the Brute Utes, (apart from the awesome driving antics) because the vehicles are so close to stock - like how the Bathurst 1000 race used to be.
To me, it makes the races so much more realistic, and fun to watch.
