I went to look at a car advertised for sale 3 weeks ago, did a deal with the seller who was getting an RWC the next day. I duly offered a cash deposit which he refused and then fart arsed around for 2 weeks. He apologised and said he'd just been too busy at work to drop the car in for the roady.
Turns out the moron wanted to keep his car so he could use it for work for those 2 weeks and then hand it over. It seems he didn't expect to sell it so quickly. I duly put up with him for that time and when he was finally ready with the RWC in hand I said, sorry mate you took too long so I bought another one (I hadn't but that wasn't the point). Last Thursday, I went to look at another one. Again I did a deal and left a decent deposit. His RWC had run out the day before so Friday he was taking the car back to the garage to get another an I was picking it up Fri arvo. He also had to get his father's signature on the paperwork (had just been placed in a home). Bugger me dead, it's Sunday and I'm still waiting!!!! |
