I have a treated pine deck. One half is much older than the other. It's time to oil it. Prep is already done.
Choices choices! I don't really like the way the pine colour decking oil looks, a bit greeny last time I oiled it. I don't want to stain the deck. The natural looks a bit too yellowy, and there's the two tone pine boards problem. I was wondering.... Would it be okay to put decking oil (either water or oil based) on the pine if it's a Merbau or Jarrah colour? I was thinking F&W products (parent company of Cabots). Anybody done it? GK
