The VE has a very short overhang in front of the wheels copying BMW as does most Euros these days.
Because of this change the VE is also the first Holden to have a 50/50 split.
Big sedans have been over taken by other products and the Falcon and Commodore and the reason they existed in the form they did is now dead.

No-one on this forum wanted to see that happen but we went through the mourning some time back and now live with the reality.


I agree the Falcon would be a huge seller in the USA.
Ford would only have to make a minor change and release it in 2 models, as an SUV and as an F Truck.
