Default Au2 xr8 engine questions

I currently have a au2 xr8 with hand built tickford motor

It has a vortech supercharger and it's currently getting new head gaskets
Done.

Is it worth me looking into new heads while its apart?

Am I going to notice any gains and if I look into new heads
Will I need anything else??

Thanks it's a little new to me
