Are both wrong
Holden Wikipedia says HSV is a division of Holden - this is certainly not currently true as HSV is independent I am not certain if has ever been true. HSV page lists Holden as a parent company this is not true. Promoso is list as a "Joint ownership company" this is incorrect, as it is a private company entirely help by the Walkinshaw family. HSV has a contract that allows them to use the H, and a supply arrangement for incomplete cars, perhaps also a warranty agreement. But it is an independent company - no Holden or GM ownership at all ! Is it time that HSV was revealed to be an aftermarket vehicle modifier - especially as they are now supposedly branching into Dodge ? |
