Question Squeaking seat in Mondeo Titanium MD

Howdy,

My 5 month old 10,000km Mondeo Titanium MD has developed a tedious squeaky drivers seat, with the noise coming closest to the corner the seat belt buckle.

Curiously if I moved the seat to the forward most position, the noise goes away - but I can't drive with my knees like that and need the seat to be a long way back!

I have tried peering under the seat with a torch etc, and I can see a lot going on and more cables than I have ever seen in a PC! - but its impossible to identify what the squeak is coming from.

Has anyone please seen a simple guide on how to expose more of the seat so I can get a deeper look?

If the leather padding can be made to come away, that might help.

Thanks!
