Support Jessica, Make A Wish Christmas Charity AFF Event

Like last year our Forum with generous support of the members and our sponsors we raised $7500 to grant a wish for a young child, this year we will be doing the same as a part of our Christmas Charity event.
Ford Forums last year become a major contributor to Make A Wish and the team @ M.A.W are very much appreciative of your efforts, so let’s dig deep and it don’t matter what size the donation it’s about the contribution of making this wish come true for Christmas.
We would love to least match last year’s total.
100% of all money raised goes to Make A Wish, AFF take nothing for expenses.

We are just so thrilled to have the support of Ford Forum again in 2017. Once again you have decided to fund a wish for a child suffering a life threating illness. This year funds raised will help us provide a wish for Jessica 9yrs old from NSW.
We are thrilled to know that you have selected to support inspirational wish that will make a massive difference to Jessica and her family.

About Jessica’s Wish

Jessica 9yrs old from NSW has wished “to have a cookout with Roothy.” Throughout her battle with Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy, she’s sits at home with dad and loves watching his 4WD DVD’s with him.

Through these shows, she has developed a love for Roothy and the life he leads camping in the outback.

She’s watched all of his shows and likes the Cape York one best – she likes this one because of the WWII history there.

For her wish, she told us she’d love to go to the tip of Australia to meet Roothy and his dog. She pictures camping on the beach in a swag, going fishing then sitting around the fire eating the fish she caught.


Watching these shows with her dad offers a chance to escape the reality of day to day appointments and treatments. Being able to be there with Roothy camping will give her something positive to look forward to and show her what life can be like beyond her illness and hospitals.
