My Falcon is an AUIII wagon and I am having some trouble finding the correct sized o ring for the timing chain tensioner bolt does anyone know what the o ring specs are ID and OD ?
ApparentlyV890066S and V890156S are the part numbers for the o rings but I have ordered the the oring (V890066S) and the outer diameter is too large. My Tensioner bolt looks different to those pictured in a few other threads, this is what my tensioner looks like. https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1NwKp...Yo7jREwadOBX4k https://drive.google.com/uc?id=13er1...nTM_VZLE2YzcDV This is a picture from another thread notice how my tensioner bolt looks different (no thread on the end that touches the tensioner) https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1EmaU...1tg54_CKhghMGp This is what makes me think the o ring is not the right one, when the o ring is located in the valley on the end of the retaining bolt the Outside diameter is too large for it to screw back in with the o ring. This is my tensioner with the new o ring fitted (V890066S) https://drive.google.com/uc?id=12Uae...vQnXsJcefZ1tDx And this is a picture of my attempt to insert the tensioner bolt with the (V890066S) o ring fitted outside diameter seems to be too large. When trying to insert the bolt the o ring wants to slide up the bolt and the the bolt doesn't go in far enough for the thread to bite in when the o ring is fitted. https://drive.google.com/uc?id=11c3k...O84jLEOLNbuRdZ https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1iQtD...as2gUuDuxpkKSf Last edited by Cloud Strife; 24-02-2018 at 02:32 PM.
