Default Re: QLD Car Rego Going Up Twice rate of Infaltion.

This is the NT rego costs, note that charges here are per engine size not like QLD.

Quote:
Engine size (cc) 12 months 6 months
2001 - 2500 $747.85 $379.90
2501 - 3000 $785.85 $398.90
3001 - 3500 $839.85 $425.90
3501 - 4000 $880.85 $446.40
4001 - 4500 $930.85 $471.40
4501 - 5000 $972.85 $492.40
5001 - 5500 $1051.85 $531.90
The NT is nearly on par with every other state and yet we have virtually a tenth of the roads of any other, mostly only dual single lane motorways if you are traveling North or South also to date we only have two overpasses and the are both in Darwin.

We had a water pipe blow in the main road here is Alice about 2 months ago and at the time it was patched with barricades and they are just getting to fix it now.

At least the other states you can see where the money is being spent but not here.
