I'm trying to confirm the correct clutch release arm, release bearing & release bearing carrier for a 1600 crossflow (711M block) & type 3 gearbox. I am told that the engine & gearbox are from a Capri 1600, but they are fitted into a Clubman type car (think Lotus Seven style). I have an arm, carrier & bearing, but the release bearing & carrier are loose on the main gear retainer (the front part of which is the sleeve around the main input shaft) and they should be a sliding fit. I have not been able to find any good pictures or part numbers that show the correct parts. Does anyone have pictures or part numbers? The fingers on the clutch diaphragm spring have curved tips so the release bearing should have a flat face. I have looked on various sites like Burton Power etc, but have not been able to confirm the right parts.
