Default Heater core replacement 2011 Focus

Hey guys

Trying to help a friend sort a few issues on his 2011 Focus. Most of it is pretty straight forward (brake pads, engine mounts, etc) but it is losing coolant and Ford diagnosed a bad heater core. (I'll confirm that before I do anything in case there's a bad heater hose or something).

Does anyone know what's involved to change the heater core? Is it a dash out job in these cars? I'm used to my FG where there lots of info around on most jobs on the car but I'm having trouble finding anything for this.

I want to work out what's involved before he shells out for parts and I start taking his car apart.

Thanks
