TLDR: Rear door handles removed and replaced. Now I cannot lock or unlock the vehicle using the touch pads on the door handle
So my car got damaged by the dealer a couple of weeks ago when I went to take it in for a service. The damage necessitated a respray of the left rear quarter panel and the left rear door, and the panel beater presumably removed the left rear door handle to facilitate the process. When I got the car back, I couldn't lock or unlock the car using the touch pads on the door handle, so back to the dealer it went to be rectified. Presumably, while trying to figure out what's wrong with my left rear door handle, they also removed the right rear door handle to have a look. Now I have the same issue with the right rear door handle. Has anyone experienced this before? If so, what action did you take to rectify it?
