Default Ba xr8 fpv

Hi All,

I used to be on here a bit some years ago and found this forum to be excellent for info and tips etc....I am in the process of buying another Ford and need to draw on the vast knowledge out there....

I am looking at a BA Series 1 XR8 that has a Boss 290 FPV motor in it and a FPV badge under the bonnet so I feel it is real. I vaugly remember these being about back in the day but am not certain. It's not a GT but appears to be a dressed up XR8 with the 290 in it, leather interior etc....

Was this combo rare or is it an odd ball thing that someone has had made up from the factory....?

Thanks in advance for any tips/info

Cheers
Nigel
