Legendary F1 Commentator Murray Walker passes at 97.. Most of us here grew up listening to Murray call F1 races and was saddened to read the news of his passing overnight on Speedcafe. I can still remember him calling the race when Senna was killed at San Marino in 1994, he was so full of emotion all weekend especially after Roland Ratzberger had died earlier in the week. He wanted the race cancelled before the Sunday race.
Similar to how Mike Raymond was the voice of Australian Touring Cars, Murray Walker was the voice of F1.. R.I.P. Murray Walker and condolences to your family and friends. https://www.speedcafe.com/2021/03/14...y-walker-dies/
