To remove the lower radiator hose: 1. Drain cooling system. 2. Remove fan with viscous clutch from water pump pulley hub. 3. Remove fan shroud. 4. Access AC compressor belt tensioner, release tension and remove belt. 5. Disconnect battery, release tension on alternator drive, set belt aside, remove alternator. 6. Release all mounting bolts from AC compressor, including braces, move compressor aside. 7. Access hose clamps and remove radiator hose. I’ll take a Barra over that nonsense, any day. |
