I wonder how many of these mine sites will virtue signal about running EV utes, while charging them from diesel gens or gas turbines? It's the green movement in a nutshell though.


EV would be an advantage underground though, no fumes.

Any underground mine would be looking at moving to an electric fleet to reduce their particulate emissions so they can reduce the health impacts on their workers. Even if their power is sourced from diesel generators, at least those emissions are not occurring in the enclosed underground environment.
