Data valid as at 00:00 GMT week ending August 11th 2023.
5,344 new cases for Australia and 104 deaths so the CMR is 0.191% (-) NZ reported 4,623 cases and 21 deaths for a CMR of 0.190% (-) 169,923 new cases in the USA this week and 1,797 deaths for a CMR of 1.088% (-) Global cases pass 693M. Global case numbers are up to 409,565 this week compared to the 315,745 last week and the number of deaths decreased from an unamended 1,223 last week to 1,417 this week. It should be noted that the amended case numbers for last week are up to 443,159 and the amended deaths up to 1,545 due to the extended reporting periods. Australia / New Zealand NSW Predictive Trend VIC Predictive Trend Other States Predictive Trend NSW had 1,485 more cases than Victoria last week; Victoria recorded 51 less cases than the previous week; NSW recorded 15 more; Queensland had 63 less; WA recorded 160 more; SA recorded 23 less; and New Zealand recorded 1,022 more. The week totalled 5.344 cases, a 0.5% decrease on last week but we are clearly under-reporting cases because the CMR the last few weeks has been well above the long-term and above 1%. .. trends over the last 3 months:
