Mums getting on and is fiercely independent, I find myself being quite short with her when she refuses to allow me to fix something as simple as a dripping tap "I'll get a plumber, you go and spend time with your family"
I promised the old man I'd look after her but maybe that doesn't just mean fixing things around the house.
