Gonna be taking my 97 EL Gli falcon in for a blue slip check in prep for rego in a few weeks. Just wondering the brake tests they do? I imagine they check brake pads and rotors, but what about calipers? One of my rear calipers rubber boots is damaged (I should replace but can't be bothered to fix/replace the brake calipers for this car (it's a skid car)). I'm hoping they just do some sort of test to measure the brake effectiveness because the brakes do work fine (pads need replacing, rotors goods, no noises or pulling of the car when braking). Just don't wanna throw money i don't have to at a car I plan on thrashing anyway.
