Smile MKII 76 Escort Questions

Hey guys, Im new to the site

This is my 76 MKII Escort. Neva owned one before.

What size engine does it have? pistons are new to me :togo:

badges say 1.6, papers say 1.3, goes really gay (guessin 1.3)
receipts came with the car for alot of engine work, including bore & hone, wagget cam, acl pistons set etc
Looked at a mates 79 MKII 2l, and it looks way different. :

-------------------------------------------------------------------

what other engines bolt onto the existing mounts?

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry for the newbie questions.
