hi,
looked everywhere for specs and no luck... i am looking at buying a 1979 GL escort 1.6L (which is a 4 door) for entry level rallys and car club khanacross events. is the length/wheelbase of the GL(4door) the same as the L (2door) or RS models? is it too heavy for this sort of motorsport? any essential mods necessary so that it doesn't give me terrible trouble on its debut? if yuou don't think this is a suitable car... what other cars could you recommend without spending over 2k?
