Hi everyone , Just thought i'de let everyone know that after 25 years of smoking i have quit ! , i can't believe it ! , i didn't even mean to or intend it !.
About 2 months back i got pretty sick witht he flu / my smokes tasted horrid / was busy with family & friends in hospitals too etc etc . Basically for a month i didn't even get the chance to have a smoke much because of all the dramas going on , and when i did have one it tasted horrid anyway because of the flu/cold i had. Anyway , i had the cold for a few weeks , was doing the hopsital rounds for a few weeks etc etc .. i've just come to realise today that it has been 2 months since i had my last ciggy , and the good thing is i don't even feel like 1 anymore , i haven't for the last month . I never ever though i could imagine the day i wouldn't smoke cigarettes again, as i enjoyed my cigarettes to much. That cold and the family dramas was the best thing that ever happened to me, it got me to quit without even trying. And now if i get a smell of a cigarette i almost puke ..lol , i can see now why non-smokers say they stink, they do ! ( i couldn;t smell it that bad before ! )... but - being a former smoker , no way would i hold anyones smoking against them etc etc , having smoked 25 years of my life i know exactelly how hard a habbit it is to quit ! / as before so i wasn't even ready to quit yet as i enjoyed my ciggys to much , despite the health risks. Good luck to anyone out there trying to kick the habit , cheers . And believe me , i have tryed a few times in the past with zero success !
