Didn't know where I should post this; But I have been reading up on O/S Ford's and got an idea. Would it be possible to source a half-cut of a V6 SHO Taurus( with the manual gearbox) from the US? Or what would be the cheapest way to go about importing the powertrain to fit to a local Taurus? I only ask because
-The afforementioned engine revs to 7800 rpm - Plenty of scope for tuning or even a blower -They can be made to handle decently - Personally I think the idea of a black Taurus dropped on big chrome wheels, super dark tint, and a decent engine is just :sm_drool: :sm_drool: :sm_drool: Would this be possible? Is there any cheap alternative? Before you flame me this thread is just a product of early morning brain storming; and I would probably sooner embark on a much cheaper EF Turbo project, but I think this would be cool. I look forward to your replies... |
