I think Sledgehammer has done it but not by dropping a new engine in.

i used to work for the guy that owns that taxi it used to run a 4v 351 that was mildly worked and a c9 trans but now it runs crazy 351 on methanol the 351 was suprisingly easy to fit in just had to get that alloy cross member machined where the engine mounts bolt on and that was it

There is a red AU with injected 351 windsor. It has a fairly big bonnet scoop (Cobra/A9X style) so that the 351W fits. It was at the FPV day a few years ago.

if u were up here i could point u towards some of the engineers, who would be willing to tell/show u what needs to be done on how to fit a 302c. th ebiggest problem realy is that ur fitting an older engine to a newer car.

There was one on ebay afew weeks ago.. He was from Wagga but I'm not sure who he was sorry. It was a burnout car but it fitted in nice. I think if you put them on gas you can get it rego'd. If it's a 351 tell them it's a 302. Sorry I can't help any more.

thanks anyway EvilChief .The fact that its an older engine barracades any progress. The other thing is that i dont want efi and not sure if that will cause further problems in terms of getting it engineered. XR.1967 cheers anyway mate. i do have the full gas system by gas research to go in aswell its just a matter of the getting the ok so that i can drive her. cheers guys
