hi,
i have a ford fairmont ef 1994 october model. the problem with the car is after running more than 50 km the oil pressure dips to almost zero level and red light flashes.the car is in india. kindly advise me thanks. arun |

Firstly I want to see some pics of an EF in India! Cant help you with your issue though, hold tight someone will know.

its an EF..
do u mean 50km/h or after u drive for about 50km's?

What weight oil are you running in the car? Does the drop in oil pressure coincide with the engine getting warmer?

India! pass pics this way, the only aussie car I saw in india was a fairlane limo once! I always keep an eye out too.

haha cool as, seen pics of lots of US. stuff - crown vic's, F trucks and the like, but never any aussie stuff

Could be a leaky hose right through to a filter not done up properly... or the dreaded gasket. Not sure how spare parts would be where you are, but I'm Sunny would post internationally. Great to see more worldwide members.

I saw a NC Fairlane in India once. I just looked at it and thought "who can be ****ed?", because you wouldn't really want to be in the same position as Arun now would you! All the way in a different country with possibly a cooked motor or oil pump, with no one who can fit a new one IF you can even get one!!! I'll come fix it mate, just pay my airfare and all expenses!
