Default got the j3 fitted today

i got a chiptorque j3 fitted today, the car feels fantastic to drive again .going by the dyno printout it now makes a whole 136.2 rwk @ 5100rpm and 360 od nm's atw. the last time it was dynoed with the unichip it made 151.9 @5200 rpm and 320 nm's atw with the cam advanced 5 degrees and the old lukey headers and 2 1/2 cat.
since then i have fitted pacey 4480's a 3in cat and retarded the cam back to 0 on the vernier gear.i got it tuned to 95 pulp this time instead of the 98 with the unichip.
to drive the car around it certainly feels quick.i'm going to go for a run at willowbank tomorrow and see how it goes at the track.last time i was out there i ran a 14.656 @ 94.88 and a 14.615 @ 94.80.i know dyno's tell a lot of porkies but its got me worried though.lookout 15's here we come :

on another note chiptorque are heading out to willowbank tomorrow night as well.they are going to do some fine tunning on cars trackside ,that have chiptorque programing done to them for free as long as you have chiptorque signage on the car.not a bad deal.

catch yas jake

Jake..dont worry about the numbers.Mine pulls 131 rwkws at autotech dyno and ran the 14.7 with a single spinner!! Malarchy numbers..trust me. I bet it was a different dyno ....? Youll do well if they tuned it right. Youll do just as good as some 200rwkw v8 cars!!! :

just as well you didn't mate ,the best i could manage was a 15.094 @ 91.35 with a 2.151 60ty
i couldn't get it off the line cleanly ,i had 3 runs

60ty.... ET........MPH
2.458...15.708...91.46
2.236...15.396...82.84.....missed 4th
2.151...15.094...91.35
i prolly should of had a couple more runs i reckon it had a bit more in it,no where near a PB though .

23 deg,75% h,1008mb,1687 RA (the et killer),TT33Deg prolly why it was so greasy.

was going through my old slips from last year and on the 11/2/06 the best i ran was

60ty.....ET.......MPH
2.212...15.253..91.69
28 Deg,81%H,1011mb,2497 RA,TT 34 Deg .
this was with the old 3.45 diff gears and pullin 158 on cnj dyno.it had the lukey headers unichip and cam set up as it is now.

The RA was really against you doing a PB so the times are ok.

Would have liked to see some better 60's too as this always spoils the ET.

The TS under 92mph tells me the RA is killing the power or there isn't any more power to be had from ecu tuning on your engine.
