Default Hyundai VS Train

Not something you expect to see when you drive through an intersection!

Fortunately nobody was hurt, from what I could gather (she was very, very shook up) her car stalled on the train tracks and she managed to jump out in time without being hurt...

Train: 1
Hyundai: 0

At least no-one was hurt, so I can say, 'at least theres another Hyundai off the road'

It woulda been pretty scary being in the car when it stalled though :S

It goes to show that you can be surrounded by steel and still not be safe.

People need to be cautious, pay more attention.

I don't want this to sound flippant, but the headlight (the left one) sure must be made of tough stuff. may just need to rethink the 'need' of headlight protectors

At least she was smart enough to jump out of the car.
Unlike some others who have died in the past on train tracks. Darwin struck there.

I was really surprised that the head lights and tail lights were still working!

It can happen. When I had my big prang 5 years ago, both my headlights were still working. The right one had smashed glass, but the left one was in about 3 pieces!

There must be some freaky aura with level crossings. So many people say their cars "stalled" right on the tracks.
Glad there are none near me that are still operational.
