Let me rephrase...For my needs the Nokia 6170 is a much better choice to either of the phones you have mentioned.

thats the 7270 prototype...
the 2 phones on my list initally were the 7270, and the D500. After reading a review on the 7270, I took it off the list and put the Motorola V3 Razr instead. |

6170 = $560, 7270 = $850...Same features (Except the 7270 lets you change between 2 different "wraps"...colour schemes of the phone itself)
I know which i'd get :P |

$850 is a poor price for that phone even if yours didnt exist.
The D500 can be had for under $700 and even the Motorola can be bought outright for about $650...and both, from what i've read, are better phones than the nokia. |

Well I was meaning to say that the e1000 is pretty good so the razr should be tops too.
my only thing about the razr is it's such a hot thing, it's bait for a robbery.

i had always had nokias...
started with a 3210 when they were new, then i had a 3310 for a while, then an 8210....which was nothing but trouble.... got rid of that for an 8250, which i had for a while, and then it basically died. it constantly froze etc, so i replaced that with the samsung E700, as i wanted something different to what i had always had. Just before my 8250 packed it in, my mates 8250 died about 3 weeks prior....a few weeks after mine going, my mums 8250 pretty much shit itself as well. lol. so not a good run there. she now has an E700 as well...but hers is fine, and so was mine until it uh....broke, which has nothing to do with the phone itself ;) ive had no problems with my E700, so another samsung would be fine....then after reading the motorola razr review, it seems to be a great phone...so ill have to choose 1 of them....just have to wait on a few things to be cleared up with optus. |
