Run some combustion chamber cleaner through it. The best one is unfortunately discontinued (AC Delco) but there's others out there. Helped mine a bit a while back.

Hmm..the cheapest bang for buck is to drive past the bp ultimate pump, drive past shell premium range of fuel and just get vortex 98 fuel.I have found it the best bang for buck trick.

yeah first on every AU owners list should be the BA XR6T snorkle or tickford one if you can find it.
K&N filter or similar spark plugs and leads, o2 sensor (when needed to be replaced), change oil regularly, check tyre pressure, check battery terminals, check power steering pump for leaks and fix NOW if there is. my economical mods included, BA airbox, tickford snorkle and K&N filter.....this got me from 550-750 at most once though in fuel econ thats with a manual though. now its usually around 500-600kms to a tank. and the rest of my car is stock. goodluck

An o2 sensor has an operating life of approx 100,000 klms, so changing it can often give better running and more fuel efficient engine.
Injectors also get dirty and can give faulty spray patterns which can also affect power and economy, it is recommended injectors get cleaned every 80000-100000 klms

just change it, you can get them for $55 + postage from ebay, for that you may as well just get a new one, chances are it hasn't been replaced

Change your fuel filter as well. Cheap and realatively easy to do.

Here's something to try. Using a spray can of the cheapest furniture polish you can find, spray all the door rubbers. Clean off any overspray and leave the doors open for 10/20 minutes, close them up then go for a drive. You will amazed how much quieter the body is. It feels like a luxury limo and also makes you realise how much the body flexes.
