Default New reason to buy new headlights!

Well My very low km Fairmont is now going in for a nose job after he tackled a Commo wagon.

No injuries, just a bruised ego that I couldn't avoid the acident in time.

So if anyone know of a white falcon that want to lose it's guards and radiator support panel, pm me.

Also if anyone knows of a job that pays around $500 an hour please let me know. I found out when I got home that I am no covered on my grandfathers insurance at all. So I now have to pay for the guys wagon to be fixed before I can fix my own. Looking at a few thousand in damage as well!

Do with thread as you wish, laugh, cry, share...................it's all yours

Sucks when your in an accident BUT you have confused me, you have said your car then you have referred to your grandfathers insurance?

Wait to see the pictures but at the end of the day cars can be fixed, all that matters is that you and no one else was hurt.

The car is in my grandfathers name and insured with him as well. when I started driving the car he told me i could and that his policy covered me. He checked on an old statement and i checked as well.

Got the policy renewl today as well and it states under 25's not covered. The bit of paper that we both looked at must have been at least a year old.

Check your policies everyone, just in case.

Insurance can be a real basta rd like that. Especially if you don't read the fine print. Most insurance companies will try to weasel their way out of paying up if they can find any reason to.

pity there, insurance on that would have been pretty cheap too IMHO. how old are ya?

Thanks Serial_Fool, might have to take you up on that soon enough.

Samftr: I'm 24, i priced up insurance for myself in the EF and it would cost me $1100 a year. not worth full comp at that price!

This weeekend I'm gonna have a good look at the EF and see what I can do that won't cost me anything. Just have to wait and see how much the other guys car is going to cost me!

well that explains a bit then ;)

I would think that being down there might make insurance premiums fairly expensive too.

Well damn will any insurer touch ya with a barge pole?

Only $1100 with that history, thats cheap......... its usually hard to even get an insurance company to insure you if you have had one DUI in the last 5 years but you had two.

Guess now that premium seems cheap to you...........

Even if your gradfathers policy included under 25's once they found out you had a DUI they would deny the claim anyway.

OH WELL life lesson learnt, hope you find the funds to repair the other car soon and you can get your car back on the road soon for cheap.
