Asking for a car shouldn't be too much to ask. Even if you're on a short term contract and they finish you up after it, I'm sure that car would be used by one of their other staff or simply when another company car is cycled out of use. If they want to offer accommodation, then a car shouldn't be an issue. The latest running costs on large cars are a bit over $200 a week - accommodation won't be any less.
