Sorry buddy.. I have no idea on bikes, so that was usually meal and toilet time:(

Thanks to everyone that commented on the pics.. Next year I am shooting for a media pass so I can get an uninterrupted view of the action.

I still have more pics but I think it will bust dial up connections as is. If anyone wants more though I'll post them and get the mods to put a warning in the thread title

Thanks for the great photos Tibbo.
Reflections of the meeting:

Great air, my Friday night pass showed minus 451 ft of altitude.
Drew Aust. No. 1 in first round of Super Gas. The car seems to run the first half well then starts chewing itself up in the second half. Equalled our best 60ft times at 1.44 and lifting both front wheels, not bad for foot braking the car (ie. no transbrake). Engine and box will be coming out. No oil pressure and possibly 2 dead cylinders. Blew one exhaust collector apart, box flares going into top gear so that will have to be fixed and carby due for rewbuild. Next hit out will be the Nationals in September. There wil be a parachute attached for the Nationals and it will be used. Could have been worse, spare a thought for the Torana Super Sedan that barrel rolled, Rogan's Pro Stock or Suttons Doorslammerthat both hit the wall hard.

Yea I saw you drew the number 1.. That was a tough break but the whole class looked bloody tough to me.. Shame to hear you had some dramas mate. Hope it wasn't too expensive of a weekend, but no oil pressure can't be a cheap fix :(

Keep an eye out for QLD Street Car this week. Article on the car should be in there. Some consolation for a bad weekend.

Yes top weekend, top shots tibbo and top weather, well for racing anyhow,
Tony did take out the final of super street, much to his amazement, it was an all ford final with the colbot blue 351 XD ute verses Davo and his 351 blue capri from bathurst.
He got the gold xmas tree for the round win and also collected enough points during the meeting to overtake the lad infont of him on the season points ladder to take out the overall super street series, bracket bracket racing for willowbank, too. Now as it stand the utes up for some serious mods for next season so stay tuned...

Heres a couple of shots of his ute before the racing started.

Great collection of photos Tibbo! That is one of the best collection around for a single event! What a great couple of days and again shows the lack of support in Vic for these events. Get rid of crapnats at Sandown and take a leaf out of the WIntersun book. They do a great job! And well done again! Should be made a sticky so it doesnt get lost!

A couple of the best is the red XC coupe, 1st and second shots with nose in air.

Thats my ED xr8 there, the very strong head winds realy nocked my car around and made it hard to pick my dial in, in qualifying i ran a 12.52 first pass then 12.43 fri. night, then the sat morning run i stuffed my shift point and only ran 12.6something. Then on the sunday morning against that ute i dialed in at 12.48 but the wind had droped right of and i ran a 12.43 backing of before the finish line. Them's the brakes.
