Default Search Trouble

Gday, just having a bit of trouble using search. When I typre in some words or terms, it tells me that it is too common, and excludes the word.

For example, I wanted to search the Performance section for titles containing the word "OIL" and it wouldn't do it.

Same thing when searching for " 9" BA " in the tyre/wheel forum.

Is there a way to get around this?

Cheers, Jimmy

Unless its been added into the system you need 4 letters if searching for a word on its own..
eg: oily works but oil wont..

Is there a way to isolate references to a model code? Something I suffered from in previous forums has been the inability to search on say 'VT' and 'oil consumption'...(just an example)

Makes it heaps easier especially given the diverse range of cars on here..
