573kW & 1,320Nm. Goodnight M5 also. Even if the gang at AC Shchintzer (sp) have a go at the M5, I doubt it would stack up against this beast.

Just a thought, if this is the hardcore Brabus C-Class; with a biturbo 6.3L V12, what on earth do they have in mind for the upcoming, all new E-Class...? AMG stepped it up a few weeks ago, and now Brabus have just gone mental.

Oh.

My.

GOD.

How quick would this thing be? and how could it put down that torque? when is too much torque too much? It could never put it down to achieve its true potential..

PS. Is there anyone else who thinks that the rear end of the C Class reminds them of a Ssangyong?

"The car sprints from 0–100km/h (62mph) in just 3.9 seconds, reaches 200km/h (124mph) after just 10.49 seconds and passes the 300km/h (186mph) mark after a mere 24.5 seconds. Top speed is claimed to be in excess of 360km/h (224mph)"

Tourque is 'electronically limited' to 1,100Nm. How the truck that works is beyond me.

Did anyone see Clarkson drive the previous model Almost undriveable. Computer and traction control just couldn't cope.

In other words, Spoolman's F6 would bash it.

The slow 0-60mph time shows its lack of any sort of grip off the mark. The 500hp M5 does it in 4.1 and 507hp E63 AMG in 4.2.

Having said that... I want one.

a lot of power for sure, wonder how it will go around a track. ugly as bugger though. prefer the look of the AMG C63.

I don't mind the rear and I love the numbers but that front is positively awful. Looks like it's been handed to a ricer for the afternoon and that's how it came back.

Actually the M5 makes 507hp, the E63 makes 514hp with 0-60mph times of 4.5 and 4.7 respectively...

There's really no need to turbocharge a 6.3L V12, even a tuned NA version should see 550hp/650Nm, more than enough for a car weighing around 1500kg.

What I'd like to know is how on earth did they fit 384ci V12 under the bonnet of a C-Class????

Actually, the M5 makes 507PS (Pfederstarke) which is German "metric horsepower," that is a globally unrecognised measurement. Which works out to 1kW is 1.359ps. In real Mechanical Horsepower that the whole world recognises and accepts, it makes 500hp. 373kW * 1.34 = 499.82, 500hp rounded.

The 378kW E63 has 507hp. It has 514ps. The manufacturers use these claims to get away with slightly higher numbers.

The M5, by Road & Track in the USA, has done 0-60mph in 4.1 sec and the 1/4 mile in 12.4 sec.

The E63 has done it in 4.2 sec to 60mph and 12.3 in the 1/4 mile.

Please when you quote me on fact, don't try to correct me with farce. :togo:

The car is an animal. It would murder most supercars on the autobahns.
I just sold my C55 AMG the only complaint was that even when the traction and esp were taken off the computer was still too involved with the cars functionality.
