Just wondering... I have a set of pacemaker 4499 extractors for the falcon I6 under my house, should I put them on my ute?
The thing is, I don't want it to be much louder than it is already! My car is a series 2 manual ute, it's got the stock size exhaust but with only 1 muffler compared with the 2 they usually have. This makes it a bit louder than stock, so what would be the best go to get good performance without the noise??? |

Put the extractors on and a hotdog muffler or a full size one.
Ive got extractors and a hotdog, loud at first but you soon get used to it. |

you would barely get a noticable noise increase from adding extractors only

Only a slight noise difference with the 4499's on mine.

i've got redback 2.2" catback (minuss rear muffler) which gave a nice note..i thought the extractors actually smoothed the note out- still deep but not as rough. i reckon fit em.

i say fit them.... i thought it was the latter parts of the exhaust system that change the volume of an exhaust...
otherwise.. sell them to me cheap.. hehe |
