Default May be selling the AU ?

Well, got a Phonecall at 7pm this arvo from my Uncle who has found me a Car ,He works for RACT as a Smash Repairer and he bought a BA XR8 off RACT for 7,000 (before Repairs) . From what i can Gather its Blueprint in Colour and Automatic. Still undecided on what to do , but thought id get an Idea on what she was worth ... the AU that is

I have seen a Few "Whats my car worth" Threads and thought i might chuck this up for a bit of a Gander.

Im Not expecting big sums of cash , but anything over $5k would be good i geuss.

Heres a Rundown..

2001 Series 2 AU Falcon ,
Sparkling Burgundy I6
Pacemaker Extractors
G&D HiFlow Catalytic Converter
2.5" G&D Exhaust
Tickford CAI with K&N Filter
Superlows

How many klm's on the clock... $6,000 at the lower end, being a 2001 $7500 should be achievable with RWC.

Depending on price, I know someone who'd be interested. Incidentally, they just sold their blueprint XR8, so it would be quite fitting!

At $6k, I could be seriously interested. At $7.5K, you would be doing OK. If you advertised it for $7.5k, with a view to taking $6.5K, that would get you a quick sale, but if you held out for a while, I reckon you could get $8k for that, with under 120,000km - anything over that drops the price about $500 per 10000km.

I recall reading somewhere that he's around the 200k mark. Had I not just bought a car, I'd be very interested myself.

If you decide to sell, once you work out a price let me know and I'll pass your details on to my brother.

Thanks,

Justin.

Wasn't your car painted not long ago Daniel? That's got to add something to the bottom like I'd reckon. The grille looks nice in Sparkling Burgandy too!

All the best with the sale.

If you get a BA XR8 I'm keeping my AU just so I can spank that BA's rear so hard it'll need to go back to the panel shop.

I'm not joking either, the AU would stay and be converted to a manual with a real exhaust just to (insert 4 letter word starting with S here) you.

He won't sell it, he could'nt afford to run the BA. Plus we will disown him (again).
