Few years ago was driving a country highway (VIC) at night when lights appeared behind me and sat right on my rear bumper. I sped up a little to create a gap and the lights followed. Did this twice more and by this time was doing 10-15 over the limit with this guy still hugging my bumper. A crusty old magna then overtook both of us going waaay too quick and sure enough from behind me the red and blue came on and took off after the Magna. It was a cop WRX. Knew Magna drivers were good for something. If he'd got me (and no doubt he would have) isn't that entrapment?

Since that night if anyone sits on my a** at night I drop a little speed and make them overtake me!

: im sure i can vouch for anyone on this forum that baiting is absolutely bu11$hi+!
is this a practice by police that requires training? i wonder if there is any evidence that proves police officers baiting is a way of preventing road traffic accidents. I can understand the reason behind it, but seriously, the person/s who make the decision that baiting should be trialed on our roads by officers obviously doesnt beleive that taxpayers money should be grossly thrown on real crime prevention such as catching paedaphiles, rapists and training police officers how NOT to be an a$$h01e when they pull someone over for not indicating :

an orange VE SS was riiiight on my butt yesturday on the way to work, so i applied the brake lights for 3-5 seconds then anchored it. he got the point... as he changed lanes I noticed he wasn't a cop, didn't even have tint, so I gave him the bird and 'drove' off.

Don't get too worked up! I think you'll find the cops didn't pay for them. And in 60 000k's they'll be up for sale. No leather or big brakes though.

Down the end of Victoria St in Wetherill Park (Next to Subaru) There is ALWAYS police there, the sign out the front says driver training or something along those lines. I've seen copius amounts of marked and unmarked police cars scream out of there, including the breeze typhoon. They also sit at the top of the hill with the radar.
If you ever go to victoria st mcdonalds at around 6:30 on a staurday morning, half the car park is unmarked xr6t's and marked xr8's/commo ss
