Default Automotive Locksmith (lost keys)

Hi all,

I have a car with no keys and its locked.

I was wondering how much it would roughly cost to get a locksmith to make a new set of keys for the boot, doors and ignition. Theres no central locking or any remotes. Just standard locks and ignition.

Anyone know of good reputable lockies which I can use in Victoria (south-east suburbs).

Thanks in advance,

Nathan.

Model would help. Varies a heap depending on year. Just ring a few Master Locksmiths a get some prices.

If you can get into the car take door trim off and remove door lock , take it to a locksmith , or get a mobile locksmith to come to you

I know what to do, I'm just asking if anyone knows how much it cost roughly and if anyone knows any good lockies that come out and do it for you.

Take drivers side lock out. Between 15 25 bucks for 1st key depending on where you get it done. Obviously an appearance fee is on the cards if you wanna have the locky come to you , between 60 and 100 callout plus labour.

And any 'real' locky can do any local cars (BA's etc) on site without towing. I know coz i can.

Maybe you should just open the phone book under locksmiths and call them direct.

Could a key cutting service, such as the ones in the shopping centres work?
