Well I have found a XM wagon, but it is need of a fair bit work.
The problems I can see is: Rust at the bottom of the tail gate (holes) Rust in the top left rear roof area. (hole size of a 10cent piece and heaps of bubbling) Rust in side sills and dog leg. Rust in floor panels. He has cut the front springs and had blocks put in the rear. Has put a 250 in but hasn't done anything to brakes etc. I really want one but don't want to pay a fortune in getting it roadworthy for the road. Any advice on cost of repairs or is there anyone in the Sunshine Coast area keen to take on a job? If so let me know, I can pick it up pretty cheap. Any feedback appreciated. Or if there is any other hidden areas on these old girls that I should know about. |
