Default New Car...(well sort off)

Evening all,

I am currently browsing the market for a new car and the other day I came across a beautiful blue BF MkII XR6 going at a pretty good price. It has 30,000km on it. I took her for a drive and it ran and handled brilliantly, but I am still a little unsure. I am hoping that you guys might be able to give me the run down and shed some light on the BF XR6s and whether or not they are a good buy. The car is $26000

Do I dare consider a VE Commodore.......... :P

Hehe nah the VE comment was a joke, I can't really afford anything above the $29000 bracket. But seriously your thoughts...

Something slightly left of field... slightly older... but the absolute top range model, with all those niceties the 'base,' cars miss out on...

I myself usually prefer to get slightly older, but top-of-the-range stuff. Unless the other car in question is brand spanking new, then the spankers one wins. But I'm weird like that... haha

July last year I just bought the same car - BF MII xr6 for 26k with 20,000kms 4speed auto. I paid 22k plus 4k trade! So those figures seem good.

Its the 1 of the best cars ive had Not had a single problem, and its under new car warrenty anyway if there is! I say go for it, try and squeeze more $$ out of them and get any extras thrown in - Tint, mats, fog and headlight protectors etc.
