Default Sorry guys, another exhaust thread.

I done a search but couldn't find anything.
I'm looking at exhausts on ebay and just wanted to know if anyone else has them and what their opinions are on them.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FALCON-EA-EB-...QQcmdZViewItem
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-EA-to-AU...QQcmdZViewItem
They seem that they would be ok. Or should I fork out the extra $$ for the redback?
Also, how much louder is it without the rear muffler?

That sounds alright. I was just afraid that it would be an anoying droney tone.
What difference does a resonator make?

resonator removes alot of the drone

my fairlane has a single muffler
Deb's (my girlfriend) fairlane has single muffler and a resonator and is a fair bit quieter and doesnt "resonate"/drone

I like the sound of the no welding would make it easy to modify for drag days

Yeah I went there yesterday. Also went to EP near the train lines and D&T on commercial rd and both of them want min of $450. And they only charge $490 for extractors and everyone else wants atleast $650.

You can get a new set of Pacemaker Extractors for under $400, as long as it's a mechanic doing the installation.

falzoony- check out aussie discount exhaust on port rd, near the cnr of south rd.

they have good prices, ive had some work done there on previous cars should of taken the xr8 there, i talked to them when i had to get the rear hanger fixed on it, and they quoted me $400 cheaper than what i paid for my exhaust.

also another good one is MFC site sponer "fisher performance" on main nth rd. awesome customer service, and good prices. they deal with performance mods, and exhaust systems.

Yeah I've heard they are the cheapest place in adelaide. Just a little far for me. Well that depends on how much cheaper they are

What is the quality like with aussie discount exhausts, AUXR8220?

They are 10mins drive from my work so it may be an option for me!

i was quoted ridiculous amounts from exhaust shops when i went to get mine done. prolly cause im a kid. take your old man with you when you get quotes, they'll prolly knock 100 off the price instantly.

blueoval- quality at aussie discounts are as good as they get, i had my exhaust hanger fixed there on my xr8, and my hi flow cat fitted there on my eb. prices are really good aswell, all the kits there are completely hand made they do not deal with off the shelf kits like redback and lukey, i noticed your down south we got the exhaust fitted to my gf's ef fairmont at carline lonsdale they were very good with prices and the job on hers looks neat.
